We call it the 20+ Club to recognize the benchmark achievement of catching a resident Brown Trout over 20" in length. However, each species has a "magic number" in the state of Michigan which constitutes a fish of particular recognition. Brook Trout and resident Rainbow Trout each have a threshold slightly lower than that of the Brown Trout due to limitations in species overall length, and competition with other species in our waterways. Below is a list of individuals and the length of an incredible specimen landed by each which gets them in the 20+ Club.
